This Term Lake Rerewhakaaitu School are lucky enough to have the Life Education Truck, Bernie and Harold the Giraffe visit us again. This is the 20th year our school has had a visit from the Life Education Team!
ROOM 3 (year 4&5) are learning how to be a good friend. We took a 'trip' to friendship land and talked about what sort of behaviour would be happening there.
SOME other areas we discussed were:
*Identifying what qualities a good friend possesses
* Talk about bullying and ways to overcome it
* Make our own choices based on personal decisions rather than peer pressure
* Discussed ways how to deal with conflict resolution positively
